Recently, we helped a client in the industrial battery sector find the perfect solution for monitoring the temperature of sulphuric acid electrolytes in their battery cells.
Our hermetically sealed thermocouple with PFA insulation offered the ideal combination of acid resistance and electrical isolation—ensuring reliable and safe temperature measurement in a highly corrosive environment.

This case study highlights how we successfully delivered a custom Duplex RTD Pt100 temperature sensor solution for a client in the British defence manufacturing industry.
The main challenge was to design a RTD temperature sensor that could house two separate sensors within one assembly while ensuring optimal performance and ease of installation. Finding the best way to terminate two sensors, without compromising on accuracy or ease of use and installation, was crucial.

This Type T Thermocouple was a bit of an unusual request as the sensing point is 20mm from the tip and has a phono plug to integrate into the customer R&D project.
After discussions between the customer, technical sales, and our production manager, we designed and manufactured a prototype to meet the customers specifications.

Products by Application – Surface Temperature Sensors

Surface temperature sensors measure the temperature of an object's surface. They can be contact types like thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors, or non-contact types like infrared thermometers and thermal cameras. Contact sensors need to touch the surface to measure temperature, while non-contact sensors detect infrared radiation from the surface.
These sensors are used in many fields, such as manufacturing to control processes, medicine for patient monitoring, and environmental science to study weather. Their ability to provide accurate temperature readings makes them essential tools in various applications.
NEW Surface Mount RTD Sensor

A bolt-on RTD Temperature Sensor with an aluminium housing for fast thermal response and tab with 3mm mounting hole for easy installation, complete with a PFA lead and tails.
The sensor can be cemented, glued, screwed, or bolted on most flat surfaces.
It has a Pt100 Class A sensor as standard with lead lengths to suit, as well as non-standard connectors options, such as a Lemo plug to suit your application.
With a PFA cable type, 3mm mounting hole and a temperature range of -50°C to 230°C.
